Someone write a Halstarion AU where Astarion is an environmental lawyer and Halsin is an activist and arborist. They initially dislike each other because Astarion views Halsin as "some granola hippie treehugger," and Halsin views Astarion as a "corporate cog." They fall in love slowly after meeting at a protest where Halsin chains himself to a tree, and Astarion speaks to the media about the facts of the case.

Karlach - Dragonborn (smoking hot, soldier!)

Halsin - Halfling (the most ripped, beefiest halfling you've ever seen, excited about the new perspective. climbing Mt. Halsin is not an option, but people want him to climb them now)

it's absolutely upsetting seeing people in the BG3 fandom say things like

"I can't believe that Asterion likes women, he's just gay"

"Shadowheart is 100% a lesbian"

statements like that in a game where all the companions are open about liking all genders is plain bi/panphobic! Whether the characters prefer one gender over the other, they're still bi/pan!!

If you're romancing Asterion, Gale, Wyll, etc as a man, it doesn't make them gay, similarly if you’re romancing Shadowheart, Karlach, Laezel, etc as a woman, it doesnt make them a lesbian.

You can relate to and express your own queer identity through bi/pan characters without changing their sexuality I promise 💕

It was a particular hot day in Baldur's Gate's so when you suggested a change of clothing in the local boutique he couldn't help but agree. He owed it to you and that idiot wizard for the reason to why he was walking in the sun. Sure he might not be able to take the damn ring off but at least he isn't stuck in the darkness.

Not to mention how he would get to see you in something that would show off more of your skin, besides he wasn't about to deny you anything. The man adored you far too much to say no to you.

The moment you stepped out of the little room his eyes went, he had to make sure his jaw wasn't on the floor from seeing you. The way the dress seemed to hug your curves yet flowed around you, the way the dress showed off your neck, arm and legs. It was a delicious sight to see and something he wanted to keep you in, you two could have so much fun in that little dress of yours.

"Darling...do you know how delicious you look." Astarion took a step towards you, his hand grasping yours as he pulled you to his chest. His arm wrapping around your waist. "Are you trying to tempt me?"

Letting out a soft laugh, you could feel the warmth creeping up your neck. "No I was just tried to dying in what I was wearing."

Humming, Astarion pressed his nose in the nape of your neck. It would be so easy to bite you right now, to take you but he rather not ruin that pretty little dress of yours so for now he will show you off to the people of Baldur's Gate.

It wasn't everyday that you two would stop off in Baldur's Gate but you had wanted to see your friends and Halsin wasn't about to tell you no, he could never tell you no. Though the moment that you stepped foot in the camp wearing that cute little dress.

He's never seen a dress like that before and he was starting to regret not finding it sooner. You looked good, know better than good you looked like a goddess. "My love, you tempt me far too much."

The dress was short but not enough to be to reviling, the way he loved your curves, how it showed off your neck and legs. Gods you were beautiful.

Halsin took a step towards you, towering over you the druid let his arm snake around your waist as you did your best to hide your giggle. "Halsin..."

A deep rumble left his chest, his hand cupping your chin, thumb gliding across your lower lip. "I do enjoy it when you say my name...tell me how much do you love this dress." His voice dipped as he gave your backside a squeeze.

Another giggle escaped your lips as you glanced up at the man as you placed your hand on his chest. "I suppose I can always buy another one."

Also, another flaming hot take, but it kind of irritates me when people put Halsin confessing his feelings to you on the same level as Mizora literally trying to use you to mess with your companions, I see so many comics with people using that as a joke and like...no??? Mizora is literally a manipulative monster and an abuser who is trying to use you to mess with your friends and feed her ego. Her coming on to you has everything to do with wanting to hurt Wyll (because sleeping with his abuser is absolutely betraying him whether you are romancing him or not) and sow dissention in your group (because your love interest will generally be upset). Halsin is literally pouring his heart out to you because he trusts you and he accepts rejection gracefully, sorry you're not attracted to men, that's 100% okay but it doesn't mean your bad faith freak out is canonically accurate. Sorry if you're attracted to men but just not Halsin, that's also valid, but it doesn't make him a creep for expressing his feelings and gracefully accepting your rejection. Believe it or not, it is 100% okay to not be attracted to someone and just move on when they politely accept that an apologize. Stop being weird.
